Slough Off Dead Skin: All Natural Exfoliation Treatment!


Get rid of dead, dry skin with ingredients that you have right in your kitchen or your nearest health food store!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of Sugar
1-2 tablespoons of Olive Oil, Sesame Oil, or Jojoba Oil (Your choice!)
1-2 drops of Essential Oil

Try Lavender, Rosemary, Peppermint, Tea-Tree, or Grapefruit Essential Oil!

 (Again, this is your choice! If you are not familiar with essential oils and which ones can be mixed together, pick and use just one! When combining essential oils, make sure that they are compatible with each other.)

Lavender is calming! Rosemary, Peppermint, & Tea Tree is invigorating! & Grapefruit is refreshing!

Preparation:

Combine 1/2 cup of sugar with 1-2 tablespoons of the oil of your choice and mix well. Add 1-2 drops of your choice of essential oil(s) and mix well.

Application:

Scoop out a few spoonfuls of your all natural exfoliating scrub, use on your face, hands, feet, legs, body! Please make sure that the area you use the scrub on has already been cleansed prior to using your scrub. Once you have applied your scrub, rub the area of application gently for 1-2 minutes, then rinse.

 Pat dry and follow with an all natural moisturizer such as coconut oil or shea butter! Both are great for your skin!

Storage:

Jar with Lid – (Can be found at your local grocery or craft store)

An old container with Lid – (Recycle it for your scrub!)

Use a preservative like Vitamin E to preserve your product! Store it in your shower area and use it during your shower! If you choose not to use a preservative, try refrigerating the scrub to maintain its freshness! Whatever you decide, remember since this is an all natural product, the control of its quality is your responsibility! Have a preservative plan in mind!

There are many different variations for this exfoliation treatment. Be creative and try different base carrier oils and essential oils. Find out which ones work best for you and scrub away!

Turkey & Black Bean Nachos w/Blue Corn & Sesame Tortilla Chips


A healthy spin on Nachos by yours truly! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1lb. of Hormone & Steroid Free Ground Turkey

16 oz. can of Black Beans

World Table Roasted Salsa Verde – Available at Wal-Mart

World Table Sweet Heat Salsa – Available at Wal-Mart

Shredded Cheese

Marketside Organic Half & Half Mix (Half Spring Mix/Half Baby Spinach) – Available at Wal-Mart

World Table Blue Corn & Sesame Tortilla Chips – Available at Wal-Mart

Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)

Salt

Pepper

Sour Cream (Optional)

Guacamole (Optional)

Directions:

In a skillet, add EVOO. Add enough to coat the skillet. Add your fresh ground turkey.

Season with salt and pepper.

Cook on medium heat until the ground turkey is fully cooked and browned.

Once your ground turkey has browned add your can of rinsed black beans to the skillet.

Let it cook on medium to low heat, until your beans are heated well through.

Grab a plate and beginning layering your nachos starting first with the Blue Corn & Sesame Tortilla Corn Chips.

Add the Organic Spring Mix Lettuce

Add the Ground Turkey

Add Shredded Cheese

Add the Roasted Salsa Verde

Add the Sweet Heat Salsa

Once your done layering, you can also garnish the nachos with your choice of sour cream or guacamole! Simply Delicioso! Enjoy!

Here’s a list of 14 ways to enjoy your favorite fragrances!

You already know about dabbing some on your pulse points, YET there are many other, inexpensive, ways to ensure a delightfully fragrance scent.

1. Spray your favorite fragrance on damp towel-dried hair before combing.

2. Dab a few drops of perfume on light bulbs. The heat will diffuse fragrance when light is on.

3. Saturate cotton balls with scent, let dry, tuck in pillowcases.

4. Spray cologne on underside of wooden book shelves. Wood holds scent.

5. Store scented soap, unwrapped, in lingerie drawer.

6. Spray your nylons from waist to knees

7. Dab on a sheet of plain-bond paper, let dry, keep it in your attaché case under business paper.

8. Pick up corners of rug and carpets; spray underside with cologne.

9. Saturate lace hankie and tuck in comer of your purse.

10. Put all your empty perfume bottles and stoppers in bureau drawers. Throw out only when all traces of fragrance are gone.

11. Dab perfume on radiator vents.

12. Put perfume on petals of artificial flowers.

13. Spritz your clothes in clothes closet.

14. Spritz perfume on your bra before putting it on in the morning.
