Saved, Single, Female and Homeless

What I did not want to mention or make known to protect myself, some people already know or knew. Why am I trying to hide it? Why am I trying to keep it a secret?

What I don’t want to talk about may be the very thing that I need to talk about. What makes my story so unique, so different?

I do. My background does. My experiences does.

I never thought that I would be homeless. Not just homeless, but experience  homelessness more than once as a saved, single, female. Who only knew church. I wasn’t brought up in a worldly household. I am paternal grandparents deep in this culture. A preacher’s/Assistant Pastor’s daughter. A close knit family structure. Two parent household. Entire family at some point active and serving within the church. Can you understand the culture clash?

I didn’t know the streets or the world. I was sheltered from both.

My upbringing didn’t say so, the culture that I grew up in didn’t say so, my family life didn’t say so. My associates didn’t say so, my circles didn’t say so.

I could even see or justify if I wasn’t saved or wanted to be in the streets, or wanted to live a street life. There’s nothing out here that I want. If I was unsaved and wanted to be in the streets and live a street life, I wouldn’t have to worry too much about a place to live or being homeless. The world loves it’s own.

I experienced and am experiencing a complete culture clash

Now, I can add, homeless during a world emergency that requires social distancing and self quarantine due to a virus.

Does it mean that God loves me any less, no. Does it mean that I have done something wrong, no. Does it mean that I needed money, no. (I found this out.) I found out via someone else who shared publicly on her Facebook Page or Facebook account, who found out via a Bishop who she did not name, the reason for homelessness. It’s not what we automatically think, finances or financial. It’s much more deeper than money. Broken relationships is the reason for homelessness.

The Command, The Charge In The Name Of The Lord Jesus Christ, An Ensample, and The Exhortation To Work

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

This salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-17 KJV

The Apostle Paul was an Entrepreneur. From what I researched he was a tentmaker. He did not have an employer, he worked, as the scripture states, “wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you”.

I love this. It encourage me as an Entrepreneur. I have heard the saying, “If a man doesn’t work he shouldn’t eat.” given in regards to working a job. Being employed.

However, from the Apostle Paul’s ensample, he worked night and day, and from what I researched, he was a tentmaker. An Entrepreneur.

As a born again believer in Jesus Christ, you should not be idle or a busybody. You should be working and eating your own bread.

Tone Your Skin With This!

apple-cider-vinegar-3506650_1920

Years ago, I started using Apple Cider Vinegar, the kind that you purchase at the grocery store, that you use in your salads, that can be used to Bar-B-Que with,  in my hair within my natural hair routine.

During my natural hair research, I came across how apple cider vinegar helps with the porosity of your hair. So I incorporated it in my natural hair routine. While applying and rinsing my hair with the apple cider vinegar within my natural hair routine, I noticed how the residue of it falling on my face, TONED, my skin!

It is a natural toner! I incorporated it in my then and at a point later skin-care routine! (I do believe that you should switch up your routines. Your skin can become resistant to the product or products that you have been using, your skin can also change, and the product or products are not providing the results that you were experiencing before.) I would use it as toner after washing my face. Now the smell of it is something that you will have to get over or get use to, however, it brought me results.

There’s not a particular brand that I would recommend, apple cider vinegar, is apple cider vinegar, however, if you want a more potent type of apple cider vinegar, it is available, try a natural health food store in your area or Amazon, click on the  picture of Bragg Organic RAW – UNFILTERED APPLE CIDER With The “Mother”.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Please note, I am not a dermatologist, this is based off my own experience with my skin. Everyone’s skin is different and you would have to try it to see if it works for you!

So how do you try it? DO NOT APPLY APPLE CIDER VINEGAR BY ITSELF ON YOUR SKIN! DILUTE IT!

I used a spray bottle that you can purchase at the dollar store or any store for cheap. Dilute the apple cider with water in the spray bottle and spray it as a spritzer on your face and if you want to use it in your hair, do it this way as well! After you apply the “Apple Cider Vinegar Toner” rinse your skin thoroughly. Follow through with the rest of your skin care routine! Moisturize!

If you try the “Apple Cider Vinegar Toner” comment back and let me know!

Today’s Inspirational Verse© Devotional Commentary

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and
they shall walk, and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31 KJV
The guarantee of waiting upon the LORD. Renewed strength.
Shall is not a maybe. It is a guarantee. They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength. In the wait, strength is given. It is renewed. Mounting up. Running and not being weary. Walking and not becoming faint.
