I’m excited that SheaMoisture® asked me to share my results with a personal mud mask that I tweeted about me at the time, currently doing, with their AFRICAN BLACK SOAP CLARIFYING MUD MASK w/ Taramind Extract & Tea Tree Oil.
In 2012, I use to purchase from Target, SheaMoisture® Established 1912 AFRICAN BLACK SOAP Kit, that contained the soap, clarifying mask, and lotion.

I went to Target and came across a 5 fl oz/ 15 mL packet of SheaMoisture® Established 1912 AFRICAN BLACK SOAP CLARIFYING MUD MASK w/ Tamarind Extract & Tree Oil.
This was my first time using the mask in about 4 years. Prior to using the mud mask, I washed my face with:
Pears Glycerin Soap
and used my 2 PK Sponge Set by:
Me with the clarifying mud mask on:
As you can see, it is thin in it’s consistency, it is not a heavy mask.
Please note: One time use is not enough time to provide a review of the product, but I can share my results from using it that night.

This is the final results, with a thin layer of Extra Virgin Coconut Oil on my face:
My Results:
I enjoyed just doing the mask in and of itself! Taking some time to pamper myself and relax. I also enjoyed working on my skin, to clear it up. I was excited about what the packaging states regarding the product and excited for those results to be taking place on my face. I can’t really say, if the mask brightened my skin, I noticed my skin brightened from the previous products used prior to using the mask.
Until Next Time,
